A concierge's guide to getting it exactly right — what to send, when, and the small details that elevate a gift into a gesture.
After thousands of deliveries, our concierge desk has learned one thing above all: the best flower gifts are specific. Not 'flowers for her', but her flowers. Here is how we guide clients to exactly right.
For Anniversaries
Repetition is romance. If you know what was in a wedding bouquet, echo it — we keep records for our wedding clients precisely for this. Otherwise, a single-variety arrangement of garden roses in a deep, saturated tone reads as intentional in a way a mixed bouquet cannot.
For Apologies
Skip red roses — they argue your case too hard. Send something quiet and generous: white hydrangeas, garden roses in cream, an olive tree if the apology is serious. The note matters more than the flowers. Keep it to one honest sentence.
For New Homes & New Chapters
Give something that stays: a potted orchid, a bonsai, a beautiful vase with a promise of the first bouquet to fill it. A plant in a new home becomes part of its story.
The Details That Elevate
Handwrite the note — or let us handwrite it for you on cotton paper. Time the delivery for mid-morning, when it interrupts an ordinary day rather than arriving into an evening rush. And when in doubt, size up. No one has ever been disappointed that the flowers were too generous.
